What is the major cause of hair loss in men and women?

Both men and women lose hair for similar reasons.

Men usually lose hair first in the temporal area, second in the crown, and third, in the vertex or top of the scalp. This is due to the concentration of sweat glands that carry Dihydrotestosterone in these areas.

Women on the other hand generally thin in a diffuse manner.

Hair loss in men is often more dramatic, and follows a specific pattern of loss which has been termed "Male Pattern Baldness".

This loss is caused by Dihydrotestosterone (DHT).

DHT is the resulting product of direct contact between the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase found in the skin and scalp with the hormone testosterone.

DHT binds to receptor sites on the scalp and sends false signals to the functioning cells responsible for proper hair growth.

Nisim Shampoos and Stimulating Extracts have been clinically proven to safely and effectively neutralize both surface and dermal DHT.

Nisim™ Product Instructions

Shampoo

1. Wet your hair.

2. Apply shampoo and scrub scalp vigorously with your fingertips for one minute.

3. Rinse your hair thoroughly.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3.

5. Do this daily.

Hair Stimulating Extract (Must be used only after Nisim™ Shampoo)

1. After shampooing, towel dry your hair.

2. Shake extract bottle well.

3. Apply extract (5-10 drops) to the area to be treated and massage into scalp with your fingertips (being careful not to rub).

4. Style hair as usual.

5. Later in the day apply extract only to the area to be treated and massage into scalp. (Note: If you have perspired heavily during the day, repeat shampoo before applying extract.)

6. Use extract twice each day.

Conditioner (Finishing Rinse or Oil Free)

1. After shampooing apply conditioner and massage thoroughly into the hair. Leave the conditioner for one minute.

2. Rinse hair thoroughly.

3. Apply Stimulating Extract.

1. To be used AFTER applying the Stimulating Extract.

2. Hold bottle eight inches from your hair and spray as required.
