Hey guys, thought I would take a minute to post concerning my results. I've been using Kalo for three years. Here's a quick rundown of my results

fingers - hair is 50-60% more sparse, and I can go twice as long between waxing as before.

feet and toes - hair is about 75% more sparse, and once again, I can go several months between waxing.

"rear end" - hair is about 50% finer and lighter in color, and regrowth is much slower. I typically go several months in between waxings.

chest - this is where I have the darkest, most coarse hair. The original Kalo formula didn't do too much for this area, but after a year of using the extra strength, I'm finally noticing that regrowth is a bit slower, and I'd say the hair is about 25% more sparse than before. I still have to wax every 6 weeks or so, but I'm confident that my results will improve as I continue using the extra strength Kalo. As I said, I have fairly dark/coarse chest hair, so I wasn't sure if I'd see any results at all.

I've heard that laser hair removal feels like you are having a rubber band continually shot at you. Wouldn't that be really painful in those <ahem> sensitive areas? For the record, I have been shaving a certain <ahem> senstive area and then applying Kalo as directed for one year. The results are astounding. Regrowth is minimal; in fact, almost as good as the areas that I use an epilator.

another testimonail copied.

I just wanted to post on how great this works. I just started using it not too long ago and based on regrowth after waxing and using Kalo, I think after about 5 months, any hair(below belly button and chest) that I am working on right now will be gone.

I've been using the regular strength Kalo for several years, and overall my results have been good. On my fingers and feet, the hair is about 80% gone. Hair growth on my "rear end" is much slower, and about 40-50% less.

I had to let everyone know how crazy this is! I’m a 25 year old guy who started growing chest hair at 15. By the time I was 20 I had hair from shoulder to shoulder and full coverage on my stomach, basically I was a younger version of my dad who I use to call gorilla when I was about 8 or 10. I really did mind it because all of the men in my family are hairy so I kind-of always knew it would happen to me, but when I got in college, I started working out like it was my life and girls started hating body hair. Then all of my guy friends started shaving their legs, arms, chest, etc. To make an already long story short, I started shaving my body to. I also started using kalo but only on my chest and stomach. Well, after two years and about 3 months of waxing, I think my hair is completely gone! It’s been 5 months since my last wax and I’ve only seen 3 stray hairs on my chest. It’s so great! When girls ask me if I shave now I tell them I’m naturally hairless!

Hi there,
I bought Kalo a couple of weeks ago (not actually from this website- but I guess just some salon selling it---- I have to say it was a bit cheaper and I got great service) and I removed my hair and followed the directions on the bottle (apply 3 times same day and 3 times next day) and so far all the hairs that have grown back have been thinner... or are not growing back at all. Oh by the way I used this my bikini line... something I've wanted to get rid of since puberty hit me. I can't wait to see what will happen during the next few applications. So a good review from me- I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to find a cheaper alternative to lazer or something crazy like that.

I would also like to say that I was completely dead set that this was a scam before I bought it. I know that it doesn't work for some people, but it works for me. I guess to each his own..

Thanks- Mae

Thank you for you reply.Just to let people know I have been using kalo all over my body for almost 1 year with drastic reduction in the rate of growth of my body hair.I still have a long way too go to be as hairless as I would like due to the fact that I have so much body hair and by the time I finish one area of my body I have another to deal with.

just letting you guys know, this stuff does work but only if you're patient. Ive been using it on my face since October. Though the hair isnt completely gone yet, its much finer and a lot less hair has come in. I also find it works much better when u rub it in well, for atleast 30 seconds or so. I think using kalo would probably be the same thing as laser, except a lot cheaper!! Im still on my first bottle! Thanx kalo!

I have been using Kalo since June of 2002 and I have had excellent results on my upper chest. I get perhaps 10 new hairs that show up after two weeks. When I started I was only shaving my upper chest because it hurt so much to epilate up there. After about six months of shaving and using Kalo I was able to start to epilate and completely remove the hairs. There is ABSOLUTELY NO STUBBLE, WHICH IS GREAT! You would never know that there ever was hair above my navel.
My lower belly is another story. It will probably need a few more months as the hairs are very hard to completely remove. BUT--this area is smooth to the touch after epilating now!

My advice to anyone using this or any other product--stick with it! Nothing works over night.

I certainly agree with "My View" about the bigger tubes/bottles. I wish Nisim would sell Kalo in 32 oz. sizes (like they do with the Nisim shampoo) as the small tubes and bottles get used up very quickly when doing large areas. Perhaps, a "loyalty program" for those customers that have spent a certain amount for their products would be in order.

I have had excellent results on my mid to upper chest region. I am still working on my lower belly. The fact that the hairs are more coarse and harder to completely remove could be the reason why. After every hair removal/Kalo session even that area looks better every time.
If it's working, just stick with it.

Davyaitch,
First off - YeeOWCH!! but also, interesting! I also am tempted to pluck my cheeks (facial) and apply Kalo. My partner gets a brazilian and she swears by Kalo, so I already believe in the product.

Being afro-creole, my hair is pretty curly and sometimes coarse, which leads to some recurrent ingrown hairs and razor bumps - hence my motivatioon to get smooth cheeks.

¿Would you mind posting more updates so I can see if I have the courage to follow your shoes?
Thanks,
Reye

I feel for you, I really do. Unwanted body hair sucks, no matter where it is. People that say, "body hair is sexy, 'So and so' was voted most sexy male..." blah blah blah, just don't get it. If it bothers YOU, then it's a problem. If you are that hairy at 15, your hair must be very coarse. Unless you can afford laser hair removal (and if practitioners will even treat a minor), you're going to have to try waxing and/or epilation. I am going to be honest with you. It's going to hurt like a !~@#$er at first. It's going to feel like you're taking skin off along with the hair. My advise is to shave it first, apply Kalo according to directions. Kalo definitely slows down hair regrowth after shaving. I know this because I have used it in a rather sensitive area and the hair grows back extremely slowly after about a month. What used to show after one day only showed after a week. Do this a couple of times. When the hair starts to weaken, try epilating or waxing a small area to see if you can stand it. If not, shave it and apply Kalo again. Do this until you can epilate without major pain. After awhile you will be able to.
The first time I did my chest I thought I was going to die. It's been two years now, and my chest is virtually hair free.

I am not going to beat around the bush. If you are serious about removing unwanted hair, it's going to take a lot of time, a lot of patience and a lot of money. If you are serious, STICK WITH IT. I believe 95% of people that say anything does not work for them only try it for a few weeks and then either lose interest or give up.

Becuz, it seemed 2 good 2 b true! I normally had 2 shave every other
day. Then being a hairstylist for 18 years, I had 2 try Kalo. I waz so
AMAZED at the results! The 1st time using it, I seen results. It took
maybe a month and ALL the hair waz gone, FOREVER! I finally had the
SILKY legs hair free, az I always wanted!

I read the directions and it said for the best results I should wax the area, so I purchased a new product for private parts and removed hair from the scrotum to the base of the penis and anal area at the root, and applied Kalo it took about 1 month for the hair that grew back ( not all hair grew back) to be long enough 1/4" to wax again. I rewaxed the areas and again applied kalo according to directions and it has been a week now and it is still as smooth as when I removed the hair, man what a great feel and product.
I wish I had found Kalo years ago.
